...however, we have a working xinerama in our XFree86.  This should work, at
least on i386.  Perhaps an if condition to check for platforms that use
XFree?

    -no-xinerama ....... Do not compile Xinerama (multihead) support.
 *  -xinerama .......... Compile Xinerama support.
                         Requires X11/extensions/Xinerama.h and libXinerama.
                         XFree86 with X11/extensions/XInput.h and libXi.
