But semop(2) documents sysV semaphores, not POSIX semaphores. SysV
semaphores are really too bad : more complex for so simple operations
(Init, P and V basically)... you die... IMHO.

I don't doubt that sysV semaphores have their use, but using them when
POSIX semaphores are enough, that's a pity (and a lot of efforts for
nothing).
