  Well, yes and no. Yes, because I'd then have an up-to-date
perl that's guaranteed to work with the other pkgsrc stuff.
No because os-x comes with a perl (a tad older, but who cares),
so I'd end up with two perls, which surely will produce
chaos sooner or later.

  Not sure what is the lesser evil.
