   Sounds good to me!  Although scrollkeeper is supposed to be more than 
just a GNOME tool, it doesn't seem to be used by anything else.  So I 
think, this is the most reasonable approach for dealing with the 
initialisation problems.

   Please go ahead an commit your diffs.
