currently available version of OpenSSL is 0.9.6nb2.  However, a make of
bind9 produces the following error message:

checking for OpenSSL library... using openssl from /usr/pkg/lib and
/usr/pkg/include
checking OpenSSL library version... not compatible
configure: error: you need OpenSSL 0.9.5a or newer
*** Error code 1

What needs to happen to make it recognize our version?
