Fixed, thanks. Two more issues:

1) The info files were not installed.

Use "make install-info" to install the info pages.
# Todo: make sure user "uucp" exists
/usr/ucb/install -d -o root -g sys -m 555 /var/spool/uucp
/usr/bin/chmod 755 /var/spool/uucp
/usr/bin/chown uucp /var/spool/uucp
/usr/ucb/install -d -o root -g sys -m 555 /var/spool/uucppublic
/usr/bin/chmod 1777 /var/spool/uucppublic
/usr/bin/chown uucp /var/spool/uucppublic
===> Registering installation for uucp-1.06.2

make: stopped in /usr/bsdsrc/pkgsrc/comms/taylor-uucp.work

2)  Trying to remove the package gave me
