So... On alpha 1.5:
Failed Test Status Wstat Total Fail Failed List of Failed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
op/pat.t 255 65280 231 131 56.71% 101-231
op/regexp.t 0 139 786 361 45.93% 335-337, 429-786
op/regexp_noamp.t 0 139 786 361 45.93% 335-337, 429-786
pragma/warnings.t 419 1 0.24% 303
3 tests and 67 subtests skipped.
Failed 4/258 test scripts, 98.45% okay. 854/11655 subtests failed, 92.67% okay.
On alpha -current:
Failed Test Status Wstat Total Fail Failed List of Failed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
lib/anydbm.t 14 3584 12 5 41.67% 8-12
lib/ndbm.t 14 3584 65 58 89.23% 8-65
pragma/locale.t 139 35584 ?? ?? % ??
pragma/warnings.t 419 1 0.24% 303
4 tests and 82 subtests skipped.
Failed 4/258 test scripts, 98.45% okay. 64/11471 subtests failed, 99.44% okay.
On i386 -current (~1 month old):
Failed Test Status Wstat Total Fail Failed List of Failed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
pragma/locale.t 116 1 0.86% 116
pragma/warnings.t 419 1 0.24% 303
4 tests and 81 subtests skipped.
Failed 2/258 test scripts, 99.22% okay. 2/12972 subtests failed, 99.98% okay.
A message in pragma/warnings.t shows:
####################################################################
# The next test is known to fail on some systems (Linux+old glibc, #
# old *BSDs, and NeXT, among others. #
# We skip it for now (on the grounds that it is "just" a warning). #
####################################################################
"old *BSDs" ??
Anywhere, I haven't had a chance to actually look into these failures.
Should these at least be reported somewhere else (ie the perl folks)?
Simon.
