No. The problem is that shlib numbering is done in a rather ludicrous
(IMNSHO) way on `most' ELF platforms, including Solaris. A "-version-info
1:2:3" may end up with a number very different from .1.2[.3].
The pkgsrc libtool can be forced to use the same format on Solaris for
pkgsrc via a patch to ltconfig, if desired.
