No, I understand that.  What I mean is `you are proposing to rename
${BASE_PKG_ARGS} to ${PKG_ARGS_COMMON}, not ${BINPKG_ARGS} to
${PKG_ARGS_COMMON}.  Sorry for the ambiguity.
