Okay, I think we should stop here. :-)
What we call "base" in this discussion is splitted into several
parts. You are being asked whether to install X11 or not during install.
And I think putting gcc and X11 into base is a good idea, since most
use both. If you think those don't belong to base, don't select them
to be installed during install - finished. ;-)
