I'm still having problems with environement variable propagation: I need
to give CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS a few options wile compiling. 

MAKE_ENV+=      CFLAGS="-Dtoto -Dtata" 

won't make it, because make interpets the ", and ends with
env CFLAGS=-Dtoto -Dtata make

Which of course does not work, and makes a -Dtata: no such file or
directory.

How to do it?
