IMO, we should only update the nbX version of a package if a
dependency has to be updated in a package that requires it, or perhaps
also to distinguish a binary packge with a known security exploit.

In other words, it should be only to distinguish the current package
from existing binary packages. Every update is worthwhile. :-)
