Well, I work for Helix Code, and I run GNOME out of pkgsrc. :) Works
for me.

I don't know if we'd get rid of the old one, since some people may
still want to run the old StarOffice without all the GNOME
dependencies?

But there will definitely be an OpenOffice package.
