I see the problem now. It's clear though, that it's wrong to have two
screensaver panels. It's confusing, but mainly, editing both settings
corrupts the user's settings in such a way that the whole
control-panel won't run anymore. (The two sets of binaries do no harm;
the only conflict is in screensaver-properties.desktop, both places.)

The choices are: 1) remove the screensaver settings (and ideally, the
binaries, too) from the control-center package, or 2) eliminate
xscreensaver-gnome. Thoughts?
