FYI, the same happens on my HP 6020 (SCSI) which definitely works for
writing CDs with cdrecord.
How about just wrying to write a CD: "cdrecord dev=3D/dev/cd0d bla.iso"
Microsoft: "Where do you want to go today?"
Linux: "Where do you want to be tomorrow?"
BSD: "Are you guys coming, or what?"
