Hello folks,

I had some trouble installing StarOffice (actually it's still not installed). I had to
basicly download the file from sun.com manually, rename it, copy it to
/usr/pkgsrc/distfiles and then use 'make NO_CHECKSUM=yes install' The 'register' script
somehow doesn't work - probably because sun changed their website a bit. Anyway now I'm
getting this:

===> Validating dependencies for staroffice-en-5.1a
===> Extracting for staroffice-en-5.1a
===> staroffice-en-5.1a depends on installed package: unzip-* - unzip-5.40 found
===> Patching for staroffice-en-5.1a

/bin/mv /usr/pkgsrc/misc/staroffice/work/so51inst/office51/setup.ins.new /usr/pkgsrc/misc/staroffice/work/so51inst/office51/setup.ins

so51a_lnx_en needs procfs to be mounted on /proc.

Does this mean I have to recompile my kernel and add support for /proc? I always thought
that was a linux thing.... I'm running NetBSD-current, I did a CVS yesterday and
recompiled my whole system, including the kernel. The ports are also -current, from what
I can tell.

Any help is appreciated (please reply in private since I'm not subscribed to
tech-pkg, thanks :-)
