While digging through bsd.pgk.mk for some tweaks I want to add, I
discoveres that the README-generating bit (line 2083 or so) assumes
that package versions start with a decimal digit. Is this a correct
constraint, or a problem with the README-generating code? I couldn't
find text that said one way or another in Packages.txt.

One package I maintain (hugs) currently has a package name of
'Hugs98-May1999', which violates that constraint, if indeed that's the
way it's supposed to be.
