G'day,
pgp2 doesn't built due to an error during the extraction phase. I've
been looking into it and found the following line being responsible:
Makefile:67
post-extract:
cd ${WRKDIR} && ${EXTRACT_CMD} -xf pgp263ii.tar && ${RM} -f pgp263ii.tar
which will expand to:
cd /usr/src/pkgsrc/security/pgp2/work && /usr/bin/gzcat
/usr/src/pkgsrc/distfiles//$file | /usr/bin/tar xf - -xf pgp263ii.tar
&& /bin/rm -f pgp263ii.tar
EXTRACT_CMD is defined as
${DECOMPRESS_CMD} ${DOWNLOADED_DISTFILE} | ${GTAR} xf -
${EXTRACT_ELEMENTS}
I changed ${EXTRACT_CMD} to ${GTAR} in the offending line
which built and installed the package succesfully!
Is this a known issue or is my pkgsrc tree getting out of wack... ;)
(sup'ed again today 7 Aug 99)
cheerio Berndt
