G'day,

what is the correct procedure for registering files which
are none-existing at the time of installation?

E.g. A program creates a new file after it is shutdown for the
first time. In this case the file doesn't exist during the installation
of the package. If this file is listed in PLIST the packages system will
complain that this file does't exist and if not listed in PLIST it
will complain that it can't remove the package directory since it
isn't empty.

I am sure that there is a way of dealing with this, but can't seem to
find the answer myself.

Your advice is very much appreciated.
