I'd like to reiterate that Aayone working on pkgsrc and submitting/testing
packages on a.out systems should remove "/usr/pkg/lib" from /etc/ld.so.conf
before working with pkgsrc.

So if something in your /usr/pkg breaks when you remove this line from
ld.so.conf, you know that it's a broken pkg, and "add /usr/pkg/lib to
ld.so.conf" is NOT an acceptable answer.  The correct fix is to add rpath
arguments during linking as described in Packages.txt.
