It's obsolote. It only holds packages which are available precompiled
for 1.3.3 yet.

We were talking about the package source tree, not about pre compiled
binary packages. If you go to "/usr/pkgsrc/graphics/gimp" and enter
"make install" all the packages you need will be compiled and
installed.
