The "gimp" packages compiles and runs fine.

We *never* had any enabled(*) packages that require non existing packages.
And of course this is true for "gimp", too:
===> gimp-1.0.4 depends on executable: emacs - /usr/pkg/bin/emacs found
===> gimp-1.0.4 depends on executable: gmake - /usr/pkg/bin/gmake found
===> gimp-1.0.4 depends on file: /usr/pkg/bin/pkglibtool-1.2p1 - found
===> gimp-1.0.4 depends on installed package: jpeg-6b - jpeg-6b found
===> gimp-1.0.4 depends on installed package: gtk+-1.2.0 - gtk+-1.2.0 found
===> gimp-1.0.4 depends on installed package: mpeg-1.2.1 - mpeg-1.2.1 found
===> gimp-1.0.4 depends on installed package: png-1.0.3 - png-1.0.3 found
===> gimp-1.0.4 depends on installed package: tiff-3.4 - tiff-3.4 found
===> gimp-1.0.4 depends on installed package: xpm-3.4k - xpm-3.4k found
Of course it might happen that a dependence gets forgotten or a package
is broken after an update of another package. But are no enabled(*) packages
which never could have been built.
(*) not excluded in the category's "Makefile" and marked unusable with
e.g. "IGNORE="
