Um, maybe I forgot to mention... it's no longer needed to have CONFLICTS
entries for old versions of the same package, old versions of the same
package are detected automatically now. This was done in my last pkg
overhaul two(?) months ago. Just came to my mind again... :-)
(For the code, see the first invocation of check_if_installed() via
findmatchingname() in add/perform.c)
