The package states it is restricted by export controls. AFAIK this is not
true as the program contains only specialized algorithms to encrypt _one_
message and isn't generally usable for en-/decryption. At least that is
the general opinion of the distributed.net-team.

(P.S.: Off-topic: Has anyone seen the Wassenaar treaty? It seems the US
finally got other states to sign nearly the same brain dead crypto export
restrictions as they have on crypto software.)
