Changes to the Packages Collection in September 1998

The month of September was mainly one of consolidation for the
packages collection - for most of the month, we had a freeze on adding
new packages, and focussed on correcting any latent bugs and
omissions.  This turned out to be very successful.  We have added
"backports" of various user programs from NetBSD-current (pax, ftp and
pkg_install).  Significant additions to the packages collection are
hbench, inn, plan, the incomparable svb, and ssleay, whilst
significant updates of packages to more recent versions include
fetchmail, ImageMagick, lesstif, Mesa, rsync, samba, sudo, wget and
xlockmore.
