I would like to announce, that we, me and Matthias, have setup up
an Amiga (040/25) dedicated to create packages for m68k. Once the
pkgsrc is fixed and sup'ed, I start a global "make package" which
probably will be co-ordinated with Thorsten Fruehauf and his
"developer" Amiga to speed up the process.
Your envisagement may be correct for other platforms; for me it will
most probably take more than a week :-) (../lang/ alone takes two days)
As the machine is hooked up to the Internet in Germany, we will of
course not be able to create all security related packages - if that
matters to you.
What other "esoteric" machines are there? I am currently investigating
to setup - in the same manner and for same purpose - a Sparc1. If this
makes sense, please let me know.
