I agree. Unfortunately pkgsrc does not seem to have plenty of that (or
they are hiding).
There is the huge net/kea which is the obvious and full featured replacement,
but not a lot (small) alternatives that I could find.
udhcpd would be something good to have, but upstream stopped shipping it
stand alone. There is a pkg in wip but ONLY_FOR_PlATFORM=Linux-*-*.
(including the typo, I copied from the makefile).
net/cmu-dhcpd sounds like being unmaintained too.
net/dnsmasq does more than just serve DHCP, so needs more migration
work.
Does anyone have pointers what should be packaged?
