Hello
I have D-Link DWL-G630 (HW ver E) wireless cardbus adapter on my NetBSD/i386 laptop.
It's based on Ralink RT2501 chipset and detected as following:
ral0 at cardbus0 function 0: irq 3
ral0: 802.11 address 00:00:00:00:ab:cd
ral0: MAC/BBP RT2561C, RF RT2527
ral0: 11b rates: 1Mbps 2Mbps 5.5Mbps 11Mbps
ral0: 11g rates: 1Mbps 2Mbps 5.5Mbps 11Mbps 6Mbps 9Mbps 12Mbps 18Mbps 24Mbps 36
Mbps 48Mbps 54Mbps
(full dmesg is quite long and available at http://pastebin.com/f3d9ada19 )
Should this card have radio info available?
The driver seems to know ieee80211_radio headers and some info about antenna etc, but I don't know much about C or NetBSD internals.
"tcpdump -i ral0 -L" shows only the following datalink types:
EN10MB (Ethernet)
IEEE802_11 (802.11)
The laptop is running 4.0_beta2 and has been tested with 4.0_RC1 and -current GENERIC_LAPTOP kernels too.
