What happens if you try the followings?

- ping6 ff02::1%gif3
- ping6 fe80::240:f4ff:fece:5b43%gif3

Also, how do 'netstat -s -p ip6 -I gif3' and 'netstat -s -p icmp6 -I
gif3' change as you keep sending echo requests?
