Greetings:

Does anyone know of how to disable Verisign's Site Finder in named?
Verisign has broken DNS by not returning an error message when an
invalid second level *.com or *.net domain is requested, and instead
redirects to their own IP addresses including their "Site Finder"
website.

I would be interested in some type of change for "named.conf" or a
patch for named.  Does ICANN have an alternative list of root servers
that doesn't allow the Verisign Site Finder hack?
