Hi,
I'm trying to setup pppd 2.4.0 between two PC's I have.=20
=09A <---------------> B (GSM modem)
I've got a standard modem on box A and box B has a GSM modem.
=09=09=09=09=09
I can get the two to connect (dialling from A to B), but running in debug=
mode=20
I notice that the modem on box A does not receive the LCP packets that bo=
x B=20
sends. Box B does indeed receive the LCP packets box A sends.
Now if I run user-ppp on box B, box A (still running pppd 2.4.0) does rec=
eive=20
LCP packets and the connection is completed without a problem.
The pppd setup scripts are as follows (this works fine with a normal mode=
m on=20
box B):
A:
noauth
crtscts
passive
idle 600
debug 7
deflate 15
bsdcomp 0
proxyarp
novjccomp
B:
noauth
crtscts
persist
idle 600
passive
debug
deflate 15
bsdcomp 0
defaultroute
novjccomp
The packets sent and received are as follows:
A:
