Well, when pf addresses what are considered to be the major problems
with ipfilter in NetBSD, then you may have a chance.  Otherwise, I
cannot see core wanting to support making problems for NetBSD users
increase.  I don't speak for core, but I know what issues they raise
with me, time and time again.  I think it would be a good fit in the
ports tree, although in time, I'm sure you'll just want to forget it
is there.
