Hello,

When I first began researching this topic (with support for Linux in mind)
in late '98, there were no Open Source drivers of any kind available for
this ethernet adapter (specifically, the PILA8480 with 82557 behind
GC80960RP33).  Although it's been over 3 years, the small amount of
research I've done would suggest there is still no driver at this time.

I'm wondering if any of the NetBSD folks have given thought to supporting
this adapter, and if the barriers preventing it then (documentation) are
still in existence today.
