I find "TCP/IP Illustrated Volume 2" by W. Richard Stevens to be extremely
helpful.  It describes in great detail the TCP/IP code of the 4.4BSD-Lite
release.  There are differences between this and NetBSD but large portions
of it are still the same and usually what has changed isn't too difficult to
grok once you understand its surrouding areas.
