I do occasional backups of some 286s that friend's have over NFS.
We use SOSS.EXE which implements NFS v2 server under DOS. (It runs in the
foreground as an application, not as a TSR).
For some time now, at least since before 1.3 I have been unable to NFS
mount these machines. No big deal, but now I'd like to back my mom's 286 up
and transfer stuff to her new Mac before we invoke the dumpster facility.
The more I think about, I think that maybe I haven't done this since I had
Sun3's running SunOS... Has anyone had success with this kind of thing?
I have tried:
