Hmm, you usually don't turn it off, as it is not
on by default. It might be that you are bitten
by one of the bugs that have just been reported
into the NetBSD bug database. Can you have a look
at www.netbsd.org and search the bug database
for arp info overwritten and see if any of these
reports might apply to your situation?
