i'm sorry...i must not have been clear.  i wasn't arguing at all
against putting the code in: by all means do so.  i can just turn it
off if i don't want it.  :)

what i was arguing against was the suggestion that ipf could do the
same job.  imho, ipf may be able to do the same job, but it wouldn't
be nearly as useful for anywhere near as many people.
