I have the following problem: I wanted to add a second modem to my
machine, petium. For various reasons, though, I could connect the
modem only to a friend's machine. Now I wonder whether there's any
chance to access the modem, which is physically connected to his
machine, over the network in a way that will allow me to run pppd for
this line on my machine.
