Problems with uvideo(4) on a Asus Eee PC 900

Hello!

I'm trying to use the Asus Eee PC 900 webcam with multimedia/mplayer.
However when I invoke mplayer with:

 $ mplayer -tv fps=25 tv://

mplayer hangs. After few seconds I can read via ddb(4):

 uvm_fault(0xcacfed00, 0, 1) -> 0xe
 fatal page fault in supervisor mode
 trap type 6 code 0 eip 7f4 cs 8 eflags 210292 cr2 7f4 ilevel0
 kernel: supervisor trap page fault, code=0
 Stopped in pid 399.1 (mplayer) at 0x7f4: invalid address

It runs NetBSD/i386 5.0_BETA (I updated it about a week ago) and I use
pkgsrc-2008Q4.

The webcam is attached as:

 uvideo0 at uhub4 port 8 configuration 1 interface 0: vendor 0x05e3 USB 2.0 
Camera, rev 2.00/2.27, addr 2
 video0 at uvideo0: vendor 0x05e3 USB 2.0 Camera, rev 2.00/2.27, addr 2

I would like to be helpful. If you need I can provide a full
dmesg(8), kernel configuration or test and help to debug it (altough I'm
not familiar with ddb(4), I've just compiled a kernel with DEBUG and
DIAGNOSTIC, if other options are helpful I'm complitely available to
recompile the kernel and/or test patches).
