Long-time-no-see -- I've been in the cut with class & work.  NetBSD
supports SUSE10 on i386 and x86_64. This is a relatively modern distro.
I'm not sure if the latest 2.6 kernel frameworks can be emulated (not
even sure what those would be), but certainly recent version of
libc,glibc,libstdc++ are supported.

For example, I can just drop RealPlayer 10 in place and it goes.
