     Yep, you can get a Pioneer DVD-R/RW drive for about $7700 CDN
(blanks would be about $90 CDN each).  This isn't cheap, but the first
consumer level CD-R drive I saw was $12,000 CDN.  Also, the drive by
itself isn't a complete solution, you would need an MP2 encoder board
(unless you want to use a year of CPU time just to produce one disk),
which would be about $6900 - $32,800 (depending on option).  This
isn't cheap, but the price should come down fairly quickly.  In about
six years, CD-R's went from $12,000 specialty items to $300 consumer
products that anybody and their dog can use.
