Well, what about keeping othersrc/cvs for internal use by the NetBSD
maintainers, but hide it for us 'mere mortals'.

Something like the $NetBSD$ keyword has to be maintained specifically for 
maintaining the NetBSD source tree, but is completely useless to most
(all?) other people.
