I don't think a preprocessor will be enough. groups allow rules in the group
to be evaluated, or not, depending on the matching rules in head.
Also, depending on how the 'quick' keyword is used in head and/or group rules,
processing can stop at the end of the group, or continue with other rules.
This is what makes groups usefull.
