it does?
the biggest problem is that eg, i386 wd1a is amd64 wd0i and
i386 wd2a is amd64 wd1a.
ie, if you use anything beyond the first 8 partitions of the
first disk instance, the names in /dev don't match reality.
if you have more than one raid, you're in problem town.
