Lookup-by-ID should be symlink, like:

        /dev/id/guid/25892e17-80f6-415f-9c65-7395632f0223
        -> /dev/mainbus0/.../wd0/disk0/gpt0

        /dev/id/ieee802mac/00-b0-d0-86-bb-f7
        -> /dev/mainbus0/.../bge0

        /dev/id/ipv4/172.16.0.1
        -> /dev/mainbus0/.../bge0/ether0/net0
