Hello,

some more datapoints - my Ultra 1 runs into a locking-against-myself
panic when initializing the keyboard. I didn't see anything like that
on a 32bit sparc but the last kernel I tested on one of those is
about 4.99.38 but with sparc64-style wscons stuff so it should run
the same keyboard driver as the U1. The U60 doesn't have this problem
but it doesn't have a zs either.
SMP macppc still deadlocks when running ttyflags on any zs, doesn't
seem to happen on UP machines. Next thing I'll try is a UP kernel on
the SMP G4.

I'll provide backtraces after updating sources ( what I have is from
almost two days ago ) and trying again.

have fun
Michael
