Hi -
after the last change to if_wpi (2007/11/16) my box locks
solid as soon as I "ifconfig wpi0 up".
If I revert by one revision, everything is fine.
As I see it, the changes are:
-aprint_error() conversions -- this looks harmless
-struct device -> device_t -- looks harmless too, and even
 if there was a mistake it should rather cause a panic
-callout_reset() -> callout_schedule() -- at a first glance
 this looks correct too

I somehow suspect that there is some interaction between
the callout changes and some other kernel problem which
sends my box into the eternal spinlock.

Any ideas?

best regards
Matthias
