You can't use the file from NetBSD-current. Please try patching your
"netbsd-4" kernel sources like this:

cd /usr/src/sys/dev
cvs -q update -kk -j 1.50 -j 1.51 ld.c
cvs -q update -A -rnetbsd-4 ld.c
