  IIRC, mac68k and macppc are not yet switched over to use makefs
rather than mkisofs (from pkgsrc), since they rely on hybrid
(HFS+ISO9660) and Apple Extension support, respectively.  The
makefiles using mkisofs do use these features now.

  mac68k needs Apple Extensions to record creator/type for MacOS
utility programs.

  macppc needs hybrid for booting directly from CD.  (Some versions of
Apple's Open Firmware support booting from ISO 9660 with Apple
Extensions, but not all.  Or so I've been told.)
