I tried your slhci(4). As a result, umass(4) seems to operate enough.
Because my environment is bad, it is not possible to test it though
zyd(4) seems to operate, too.

And, I know 'slhci(4) at intio(4)' + ural(4) and umass(4) operated on
x68k.  I think that I should replace our slhci(4).
